Liquid eye liner vs pencil eye liner?

which one do you think goes on the easiest and looks the best?Liquid eye liner vs pencil eye liner?
As a makeup artist, i think an eyeliner brush dipped in a eyeshadow is the best and easiest way to do your eyeliner. You have more control and it stays on longer than pencil. You also have a lot more variety if you want to stray away from the traditional black every once in a while. Pencil eyeliners have a tendency to melt if you wear them for a long period of time b/c of oils on your eyelid. Liquid eyeliners are great especially for nighttime but it takes a lot of practice to get the look your going for.Liquid eye liner vs pencil eye liner?
my personal opinion is pencil because i got liquid eyeliner in my eye one time and it hurt!!!!!! but i think liquid eyeliner looks better.
WELL I LIKE LIQUID CAUSE IT LOOKS TOTALLY BETTER BUT THEN WHEN YOUR IN A HURRY YOU DONT WANT TO USE THAT SO PENCIL IS WAY EASYER TO PUT ON BUT THEY ARE BOTH OK.
Pencil works for me way better!

Liquid always looks so bad on me.
liquid is delicate / pencil i more ruff on the eyes
i use pencil, it depends on your skin though
i had this problem and a friend bought me a really good pencil eyeliner and its great for smokey looks or something subtle whereas liquid does seem to look kinda harsh and fake sometimes. Also pencil is so much easier to apply as long as its a good one then it should work well. good luck
mixture of both...... depends. my friend says pencil.... i think its more of a day look. and then liner for night time. PARTY
i usually use the pencil but i also like the liquid liner it creates more bold lines and looks smooth.
I prefer liquid
pencil
use a pencil for below your eye and use an eye shadow brush, dampen it with water with a dark eyeshadow for your eyelid, it looks like liquid but goes on much easier.
I think that liquid is better than pencil.

Liquid emphasizes an impression of eyes.

How to use liquid is difficult, but it is easy if you practice it.
I just started using liquid and I definitly think it looks the best. It takes a few practice times, but even when you start using eyeliner at all, it takes practice. I have also found from my own experience that liquid stays put much longer than pencil. Pencil tends to run downward by the end of the day.
LIQUID
Pencil defentaly
I was a die hard pencil person for years, until I tried the powder, (it looks like eyeshadow) I love it. You will also need an eye liner brush. Pencil goes away and liquid doesn't look good at all.
Liquid on top, pencil on the bottom. Pencil is easiest.
liquid eye liner is good
I've only used liquid liner a few times. It's good for a more dramatic look b/c it goes on pretty dark. Usuall y I use an eye liner pencil. It's faster %26amp; easier for me and easy to fix if you make a mistake.
Pencil is WAY easier to put on, and it looks better.
neither the best is using the kind that is in a tube and you just twist the bottom instead of sharpening and it doesnt hurt you like the wood on the the pencil does
liquid totally speaking of that i need to buy more..thanks for the reminder
Pencil definitely goes on easier and looks good. Liquid looks good if you practice a lot and get a smooth even line. But you can smudge pencil so easy for a smokey look.
If you want a darker more finished look, Liquid is best. Although have you tried the waterproof eyeliner? It still comes off fairly easy yet it stays on throught the day better than liquid AND pencil. Pencil is better if you want defined lines yet something that is a little easier to rub off. I don't think that pencil is as dark as liquid OR the waterproof eyeliner. I used to use pencil until I tried the liquid. And I loved the liquid until I tried the waterproof eyeliner.

I use: Maybelline UNSTOPPABLE eyeliner. I get it at wal-mart so I know it can be found most anyplace. It's like $5-6 I'm not sure exactly how much.

Sometimes I use dark eye shadow for a liner, it helps to have ';smokey'; eyes... :)

GOOD LUCK!
I like pencil better because liquid eyeliner goes on like paint would and I don't think it looks good at all! If you want to use something liquid on your face use liquid eye shadow or liquid blush!
pencil, it doesn't run half as bad if you cry.
Pencil goes on much quicker and easier.

If you're going for a smoky eye look, pencil is better.

But if you want a well-defined smudge-proof line, go with liquid.
I feel liquid eye liner stays on better...and looks better than pencil eye liner. Plus i do feel it goes on easiest.
I kind of use both...i use the pencil first to get the shape i want..i can fix it easily...then i go over it with the liquid because liquid offers longer staying power and u can get a darker black with liquids...and i just have to have the blackest black
I like pencil better, you have more control of where you put it and it is easier to make a smoky effect. Liquid is hard to apply at first and it runs very easily also it is not good if you are in a hurry.

  • LIQUID EYE-LINER Help? PLEASE Help Me! Thanks!!...?

Usually I use a pencil eye-liner, but I like the way it looks on all these models and I got some for my b-day.

When I were make-up, I ONLY wear eye-liner and mascara.

I NEVER wear eye-shadow or anything...

Please help me make it look nice.

    Any tips?

I am pretty good at normal eyeliner but not liquid.

    Thanks.

I have L'oreal Paris Lineur Intense Brush Tip Liquid Eye Liner.

So I know you should only apply it to the top lashes, but how?? Whenever I try it looks HORRIBLE. Can you give me step by step easy instructions?LIQUID EYE-LINER Help? PLEASE Help Me! Thanks!!...?
    Dear Trina,

This is how you apply your eyeliner:

1.Assuming you have a steady hand (if not, try this sitting down so you can steady your arm by placing your elbow on a table),position your pencil, so it is as close to the lash-line along the eyelid as possible.

    2. Then draw a line from the inner to outer corner using one fluid stroke, following the curvature of the eyelid. Do not extend the line past the outer corner of the eye or hug the tear-drop area of the eye.

3.To start, keep the line as thin as possible, and if a thicker line is desired, repeat the process either across the entire lash-line or simply on the outer third of the lid along the lashes.

    4. Making the line along the eyelid a solid, even one, starting thin at the front third of the lid and becoming slightly thicker at the back third of the lid can be an attractive classic look.

5.You can line all the way across the eyelid if you like, from the inside corner to the outer edge, or you can stop the line where the lashes stop and start.

    6. Along the lower lashes, line only the outer two-thirds of the eye. Make sure that the two lines meet at the back corner of the eye.

7.As a general rule, avoid lining all the way across the lower eyelashes. Leaving some space on the inside corner of the eye where the lashes end near the tear ducts gives a softer, less severe look. Plus, wrapping a complete circle of eyeliner around the eye tends to create an eyeglasses look and can make the eyeliner a stronger statement than the eye itself.

About the colour,It actually depends on your skin tone,as idont know your skin tone colour i can advise you on a general basis.

-For a classic eyeliner application, choose shades of dark brown, gray, or black eyeshadow for the upper lid and a softer shade of those鈥攖an, taupe, chestnut, soft brown, soft gray, or soft black鈥攁long the lower lashes.

    - Eyeliner is meant to give depth to the lashes and make them appear thicker.

-If the liner is a bright color or a true pastel, attention will be focused past the lashes to the colored line, as opposed to the more subtle flow of color from dark lashes to dark liner.

    -Test it on yourself.

-Line one eye with a vibrant color, the other eye with brown or black, and see which one looks like it has thicker lashes.

-Then, if all my attempts to convince you have failed, and you still prefer to use bright or pastel liners, go for it.

P/S :REMEMBER TO SHARPEN YOUR EYELINER PENCIL BEFORE USE TO PREVENT BACTERIA INFECTION.

I understand that at times it might be a little difficult to follow step by step procedurs,so ive found you this excellent link to check out the step-by-step video.Im sure you will be a prefessional with all this help.LIQUID EYE-LINER Help? PLEASE Help Me! Thanks!!...?
You should only do the bottom and STOP using the Q Tips to wipe it because it smudges. Just do it slowly across the bototom
The best tip I can give you is to put on pencil eyeliner first, and then go over it with the liquid. When and if you get better with applying the liquid, you can stop using the pencil if you want. I use Clinique liquid eyeliner because it's applied the same way as pencil eyeliner, Avon has the same style and it's cheaper.

To apply the pencil eyeliner, lean your head back enough where you can still see yourself in the mirror, stretch your eyes out (one at a time), and apply like normal, this makes the line nice and thin. I don't know if my directions make sense to you, but if they do, I hope it works for you.
liquid eyeliner... just follow your lash line not making the line too thick.

if you notice the line getting too thick then take some off with make up remover.

i guess it depends on how you want it to look though.

but thats what i do every morning and people like it!!!
To get yourself started, just make the handle horizontal and press it to your eyelid, right where the eyelashes are. It's kind of hard to say what I mean.. But just practice with it at home until you're comfortable with it :)
first you are gonna wanna hold your eye still. second you are going to paint a continuous line as close to your lash line as possible . keep a few q tips dipped in makeup remover handy to sweep away any mistakes. then wait a few seconds so it dries . then thats all
It's all aobut practice. In time you'll get it~!

What I do is, put my elbow on the table, and pull my eye to make it look squinted, it's easier that way. When you apply it, do it slowly, 'cause if you do it too fast, you'll make a mistake. If you mess up, grab a cotton swab, dip it in water or your favorite makeup remover, and just take it off (:
umm i dunno how to tell u step by step but i have been wearing that stuff for years now, i dont know how big of a line you want at the top i leave my eye open and do it, another way is u can take the corner of your eye and pull it a little then do it that way, im just telling you now u better practice alot with it before you try puttin it on right before you go some place!!!! and its gunna take a couple of days to get ahang of it just dont get pissed, another thing is if u make a mistake take a q-tip and u can wipe it right off but u have to do it when its still wet..... good luck i hope i helped

    just keep practicin
When I first started using liquid liner I just couldn't get it right.

I can give you tips, but I don't know what look you're going for.

The only real tip anyone can really give you is to just keep practicing and trying different things. You'll be a pro eventually. :)
try balancing your pinkie finger on your nose while putting it on

and try doing it slowly and yet efficiently by balancing =]
ok i wear liquid eyeliner but i use loreal telescopic eyeliner. the first time i tried it it looked awful too but u just have to practice. 1 pull your eye into a slant( you know like how u did when you were little and you wanted to look Chinese) but close one eye 2 take the eyeliner and apply it like you would with a pencil . and there you have it is really not all that complicated.

    Maybelline NY liquid eye liner

Okay, so about two weeks ago i bought this eyeliner called ';Lineworks Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner '; with the felt tip,By Maybelline. And i've been using it every day on my eyelid. Sunday night i took my make up off, but the eyeliner was still kinda on, but i went to bed. and i woke up and my right eye was hurting alot in the spot where the eyeliner was.

Usually i never do take off my make up, which i know is bad. but i dont get how when i did take it off, the next day my eye hurt.

Yesturday, i tried to take off the eyeliner cause it was STILL on, and when i tried to,it stung, and where the eyeliner was, my eyelid started bleeding...

some people have told me im allergic to the eyeliner, but i always use maybelline make up.

so any tips, or reviews on this eyeliner? In my opinion it sucks.Maybelline NY liquid eye liner
ok, the eyeliner is WATERPROOF , that means it stays on for a long time and is um.. waterproof.how did you remove it? did you use a makeup remover for waterproof makeup? that is the only way to properly remove it(baby oil also works but dont use it if you wear contact lens) if your rubbing, rubbing, rubbing just to get it off you may have irritated your eye and rubbed off some skin. let it heal for a few days before you use more makeup, you could also try a non waterproof product, it will remove alot quicker.good luck hope this helpsMaybelline NY liquid eye liner
    thats really weird!

the same exact thing happened to my cousin.

she hates taking off her makeup so she does it like at the end of every week or so.

i'm pretty sure your not allergic. its probably just you keep layering it on and take it off every once and a while, and thats eeritating (i cant spell XD) your eyelid. like my cousin did a little experiment she put it on everyday then took it off at the end of the day. she did that for one week and her eye was fine. you should try the same thing.
i would suggest stop using it, an obvious choice, and try using a diffrent brand, because it might be something in this specific eyeliner that aggrivated your eye. or it could be that some of the eyeliner got in your eye, since it is a LIQUID eyeliner, anything could've happened.
There is a ingredient in Liquid Eyeliner that 1-4 people have recactions to. I am one of those people. Stick to eye-line that is a pencil or a paint on. Also, see your doctor for a cream so the infection doesn't get into your eye.
You have taken an allergic reaction to this so don't use it again or you could end up with conjunctivitis (end of makeup days)
    1 stop using the eyeliner

    2 go see your doctor

3 try a new brand of eyeliner

    What's a good liquid eye-liner??

I need one that won't smudge or flake, and defnitely doesn't look dull!

Any suggestions would be appreciatedWhat's a good liquid eye-liner??
    Heyy!

My fave would definitely be Fluidline from MAC. It doesn't smudge (especially when you're eyelids are oily), the colors are all super rich, and the container lasts me forever! You do need a brush since it is gel but I find it is easier to apply it that way.

If you want liquid application I would try Urban Decays liquid liner becasue they are SO vibrant or MAC's LiquidLast Liner.

    Good liquid eye liner ?

I have never tried liquid eye liner but I want to try it for a line across my top lid.. Do you know of any good ones that do not smudge and aren't too hard to apply.

Thanks !Good liquid eye liner ?
I have used liquid eyeliner for years, so I have literally tried them all. The best liner I have found by far is L'Oreal's Lineur Intense. It comes in a variety of shades and is easy to apply and it doesn't flake off. It is also under $10 so you're not wasting your money! I would advise against buying the black liner though, because it is too harsh....try the Black/Brown liner or Brown liner instead, it looks much better. It will take some time for you to get used to applying the liquid liner, but soon your hand will be steady and you'll be a pro. Good luck!Good liquid eye liner ?
I like Loreal Lineur Intense. Its great and easy to apply and doesn't flake off
Try one from M.A.C. Cosmetics. They have precision liners that make it easy to draw a thin line or a thick one. They are also smooth, and don't get crusty. If you let them dry for a few seconds before you touch them, they won't smudge, either.
I've heard that MAC fluid line is awesome.

But if you're on a budget and you're just experimenting I would buy some liquid liner from Victoria's Secret. Its like 2 for $10
Clinique--in black waterproof liqued eyeliner. Excellent because it stays on all day without smearing. I wear it everyday and I love it. Its about $15.00 and will last you months

How to use liquid eye liner?

every time i try to use liquid eye liner it always gets messy and, im really confused if im using it right... so i need help... any ideas??How to use liquid eye liner?
since recently ive been quite new to liquid eyeliner, practice makes perfect. If i was you i would only put it on the top eyelid. start from the inner corner, make this bit of the line smaller and then press firmly with the brush all the way along and do any type of flick you want. Make sure the outer apart of the line is thicker. If it is a bit wobbly at the top of the line then just go over the line again more firmly and slowly. How to use liquid eye liner?
I always use liquid eye linear on the top of my eye and the trick is to be very careful and steady, and let it dry before you open your eye or start doing something else. If you mess up try using a wet Q-tip, if not, just completely take it off with make up remover
What brand of eyeliner are you using? Maybe you should try another eyeliner. Anyway, there's videos on youtube that show you how to apply eyeliner, it's very easy.
Put your elbow on the table or counter so your hand is steady. Then with your hand slightly pull your eye lid taught on the side of your eye ( but not too much!) then carefully slide the brush across the lid

  • Ok so i always wear black liquid eye liner...?

on the bottom inside of my eye, but i am starting to want it to look natural. what should i do instead? im 13 and have tried pencil but it smudges and goes away. help?

%26lt;3Ok so i always wear black liquid eye liner...?
That's kinda funny, you can wear eye liner but not macara. Mine was the complete oppisite XD

Well, for a natural look, you want neutral colors. Liquid eyeling doesn't look that natural, pencil is your best bet, and go for a light brown and apply in thin coats. NOT THICK! If you want to have some fun and make your eyes pop, pick a color that's the opposite of your eye color. I have green eyes, so I use purple eyeliner. It's called ';Starry Plum'; from Clinique. Teal would go to. If you have blue eyes, try a yellow-ish gold, a color around that area. If you have brown eyes, expirement! You can use all sorts of bright colors! Teal, Gree, Dark Blue, Anything!

Good Luck!Ok so i always wear black liquid eye liner...?
The thing is you really need to just sit in front of a mirror and practice with pencil, i am 15 and it took me a little while to do it perfect but you will get there.

The only thing natural is pencil.

And i wear a lot of it and with a pencil it still compliments.

Oh and i almost forgot, you need the right pencil. Actually weirdly the cheaper ones work the best! and it wont smudge if you get the right one!
try using a angle brush to smudge some dark green powder eyeshadow around eyes, on upper lashline and bottom lashline, it is easier than a liner. Also use highlighter on browbone and brush lashes with a browbrush. Or use gold on upper lashline. or brown smudged on top and lower inner rim. : )
have one of your parents, or an older sibling or something take you to a make up counter. You can ask one of the people there for advice on how you can apply it to look more natural. They usually will do it for free in hopes that you'll purchase make up from them.
try brown eyeliner, it's softer on the eye and gives you a more natural look. Darker makeup is usually meant to be work at night and if you're going to school everyday, then I would go with browns to soften up your tone.
You're 13. Enjoy your childhood, don't rush into worrying about makeup too soon. I know that's easy for a guy to say but that's my opinion. You want to look natural? Then go natural. :P
Apply it directly under your lashes, not on the inside on the rim of your lid.
just wear thick mascara, it will make you look more natural, but will still give you some definition.
Try the liquid liner just on the top lid, it looks a lot more fresh when you don't have it on your waterline. Good luck!
    waterproof eyeliner!
wear brown eye liner and mascara...
Try gray and see how it works for ya.
wear a light brown eyeliner and dont put it on too heavy

    Whats liquid eye liner for?

I usual use black eye liner.

    Some times the sharpening ones,

most of the time a twist up one.

Whats so different about using liquid eye liner and not regular?Whats liquid eye liner for?
Liquid eyeliner creates a more solid line, not smudged like pencils can give. It can make a good effect if you use it correctly.Whats liquid eye liner for?
ITS BETTER WHEN YOU USE IT FOR THE TOP PART OF THE EYE...MOST OF THE TIME BLACK ONES ARE FOR DOING THE CAR EYE BUT U CAN DO IT IN MULTIBLE COLORS AND USE BLACK EYESLINER FOR THE BOTTOM AND A LITTLE BIT FOR THE TOP ITS LOOKS REALLY CUTE..AND IT DOESNT SMUDGE THATS WHY ITS BETTER BUT BE CAREFUL CUZ ITS ANNOYING WEN IT GOES IN YOUR EYE
The lines they make are more stronger and more defined and they're meant for the top eyelid over the eyelashes to wing out your eyes.

Although some people can manage to put them on their bottom lid haha...

check out youtube on how to apply them :P
Same thing as regular eyeliner. Some ppl just find it easier to apply, plus it looks a lil more smudgy

I had the same problem with my NYC stuff. I had a gift card to Sephora so I decided to splurge and find the good stuff. It worked! I use the Urban Decay liquid eyeliner in Perversion. Here's the link (it's great, I swear, no flakiness and it doesn't smear!)

    SHISEIDO.
I use cover girl. It's really good and doesnt flake and doesnt make your lashes clump. plus its not expensive... here's a link to buy some if you dont have any stores that sell it near you, or if you do, it has some coupons. i like any of the three mascaras on the link. http://www.drugstore.com/templates/browse/default.asp?catid=98575%26amp;trx=BSMMP-7833%26amp;trxp1=HP%2D107255%26amp;trxp2=0%26amp;trxp3=98575%26amp;brand=7833

    Liquid eye liner help?

I have really long lashes. Everytime I attempt to apply liquid eyeliner I can never get close enough to them without it getting all over my lashes. My line never comes out thin and even like I want it to. What should I do?Liquid eye liner help?
Try using Eye Definer Felt-Tip Eye Marker by Physicians Formula. The liquid has the same affect as a liquid eyeliner just tinted tad bit lighter. The marker has a felt tip end that allows precise application. Guaranteed that it won鈥檛 get on your lashes. Another plus is that it鈥檚 cost about seven dollars. Have fun!Liquid eye liner help?
Hold your eyelid taut and start at the OUTER corner instead of the inner corner. Don't worry about the liner getting on your lashes. You can cover it with mascara. Wipe the brush-applicator-dealie that you are applying the liner with, so there is just a tiny bit on it. It's easier to get a smooth straight line if you aren't glopping it on. You can always go over it again if it's too light or too thin of a line.
ok so first apply your mascara first then let it dry so that you can rest your brush on the lashes. use a felt tip brush its the easiest to handle. so dont rest your hand on your cheek because that just limits control so im telling you DONT REST THE HAND!!! .and apply one coat while holding you lid down but pulling the skin up. like hold the lid closed and apply pressure so that the skin kinda raises as if you smooth out invisible wrinkles. then let it dry. hold your lid open and apply the last coat and make it even. hope i helped. :) TIP: BLINK IF YOU HAVE TO BECAUSE IF YOU TRY TO HOLD IT YOU WILL END UP BLINKING AND IT WILL RUIN THE WHOLE JOB. ALSO BLINK A FEW TIMES BEFORE FIRST APPLYING.
well when ever i want something thin and not thick i always get a q-tip and makeup removal and the i just put some on the q-tip and just wipe the part i don't want to make it look thick
i have long eyelashes too. i get liquid eye liner on them too. then i put mascara on and it doesnt really look like theres eye liner on it.
use reguar eye liner not liquid eye liner
Try Covergirl Line Exact pen or a non-liquid eyeliner, like Clinique.
use cream eye liner that helps alot.
pull your eye on the side gently then apply

Wat brand of eye liner (not liquid) is good and actually stays on?

Revlon Colorstay.Wat brand of eye liner (not liquid) is good and actually stays on?
MAC definitely, it leaves a clean line and stays on for a long time
Get the eyeliner from Bee-Luscious Cosmetics (Google them). It WILL stay on all day. It is a bit more expensive but it's worth it because it stays where you put it and you don't have to keep reapplying.
Try Gel liners or as often called ';pot'; liners. They are hi intensity, and won't fade or smudge .They are great for all day wear. They come in all sorts of colors, styles, and prices...here are a couple of web site of some store that carry them check them out. Trust me they are fabulous I wouldn't go back to liquid liner for anything ;-)

MAC or Clinique (but make sure its waterproof if you plan on being around water)
water proof mascara, when you pull out the brush you always get the extra on the end right so take the brush run it allong your eyelide and whip upthe extras makeing a nice neat line that satys on all day and it really works
Bee-Luscious has really GREAT eyeliners that stay on all day. You can't beat their quality. It is available on-line. They also have one with chamomile and aloe if you have sensitive eyes.
    Sephora
    Mac in Khol
I like to splurge a little on eyeliner, and go for Estee Lauder. Theirs is really good, never had a problem with them. And it lasts a REALLY long time.

Also, to keep eyeliner, in general, on longer...try brushing a translucent powder over your eye lid, it gives the eyeliner something to hold onto, instead the natural oils in your eye lids, which make the eyeliner melt off.
I really love MAC. This is the eyeliner I use and it's the first one that actually stays on for me :

    http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>

I also put concealer on underneath my eyeshadow/eyeliner to help it stay on longer.
    i'd say anything waterproof
Smashbox cream liners!!! I love Smashbox period. But there eyeliners are amazing! You apply them with an eyeliner brush. They last all day and don't smudge! They come in really beautiful colors too!

Which is the best liquid eye-liner?

I swear by Lip Ink eyeliner (Lipink). Search for it on Google or eBay.

It easily stays on without smudging for 24 hours.Which is the best liquid eye-liner?
i always use gel eyeliner... especially this one

    http://www.best-eyeliner.com/d/sale.phot鈥?/a>

you apply it with a little brush, it's ridiculously easy

Which one is better? Liquid eye liner or the normal one? And does mascara helps on everyone?

I think that crayon or pencil eyeliners work the best. The liquid liners are risky. They take more time to apply, require a very steady hand, and can look really stupid if you don't do it just right. Liquid liners make a very fine line, and usually you have to go over it a couple times if you want to make the line thicker. If you mess up, it's a pain to fix it. You pretty much have to start over. Liquid liners not only produce a very thin, fine line, but the line itself is very severe. The line you get from a liquid liner will be deeper, bolder, and much sharper than anything you'd ever get from the blackest crayon or pencil. Not something you want to mess around with if you're going for a casual or natural look. Liquid liners can create very dramatic eyes, but it takes skill and patience. If done incorrectly, it can become a distraction, like over-plucked eyebrows. With liquid liners, you have very little flexibility as far as blending, therefore, you're pretty limited on where you can use a liquid liner without looking like an idiot. With a pencil or crayon, you have more control over the line and the thickness and darkness of the line, and you don't have to fuss with it as much. If you make a mistake, smear it over this way or that way, blot it with a tissue, blend it into your eyeshadow, cover it with powder, the options are endless. With liquid you just don't have those kinds of options. You have a perfect line or you don't. There's no middle ground. Plus, I don't know what they put in those liquid liners, but I seem to be more sensitive to them, i've tried many different kinds, and they all make my eyes sting and water. Of course, I might have been concentrating so hard trying to put the stuff on, that my eyes started to water under the strain of it all. Then there's the issue of poking yourself in the eye. This seems to happen a lot more with liquid liners and it hurts like heck. Liquid liners also don't seem to last as long, they seem to fade and wear off pretty quickly. Unless, of course, you get the waterproof kind; in which case the stakes are much higher for you to apply it perfectly the first time around.

As far as mascara....yeah, i'm a believer that it can look good on just about everyone. The trouble is, I don't think one kind of mascara works for everyone. It's all about trial and error, unfortunately. What may work for one person might look terrible on you. Everyones eyelashes are different, and each set may respond better to a certain type of brush, or type of mascara itself. Once you find one that you really like, don't let anybody tell you different. Makeup is an adventure, you just have to find what you're comfortable applying, and what makes you feel good wearing.Which one is better? Liquid eye liner or the normal one? weeeeeeel you see liquid is really hard to put on but if you get the waterproof kind it stays on for like ever!

and if you get the normal sometimes it comes off during the day!(:

    and i LOVE mascara!

    i use it every day!

if you have short eyelashes the use mascara then use a eye lash curler and then put more mascara on(:

i always have a ton of mascara on to make my eyelashes fuller!

I prefer liquid eyeliner..its stays on wayy longer and it looks better in my opinion. but sometimes its a complete ***** to put on..if you have a shakey hand! takes me ages to get a straight line lol

yes mascara looks good on everyone!

Mascara really is the best invention :]
depends on the look you want to create. if you want Precision go for liquid, smokey and smudgable go for pencil. and yes mascara is always a plus unless you're one of the lucky ones with gorgeous natural lashes
    Yes mascara helps on everyone

and I like the normal one better, liquid is too messy and hurts ike a ********* when you get it in your eye

Eye liner pencil or liquid eye liner?

Pencil is much better in shaping the eyes. Liquid, on the other hand, flows here and there. The experts even say that when you are applying liquid, you should determine the width and shape of the lines by drawing with the pencil first.Eye liner pencil or liquid eye liner?
eye liner pencil --- definitely -- and then smudge it ...Eye liner pencil or liquid eye liner?
I could never get the liquid liner to go on straight, but if you can do that, go for it because it tends to last longer. If you wear contacts, you should go for the pencil because I've gotten liquid eyeliner in my eye and it is NOT fun.
My opinion is not liquid. When you use liquid eyeliner it clumps up and little pieces fall of and it looks terrible so stick to the pencil eyeliner.
Pencil. It is easier to use than liquid. Liquid does give you a different look if you can put it on correctly. Either one works perfect. It is just your own preference!
Pencil is easier to use. Liquid gives a more dramatic effect.
A lot of people find liquid eyeliner tricky to use, especially on the bottom line. I use liquid on the top lid, and pencil on the bottom. But you should go with whatever looks best and whatever you know how to use better.
    pencil with the soft tip.
They are both good for different things!

Pencil-This is really great for the more natural looks. It can also work for smudgy messy looks. Such as the smokey eye. This look can be cute, punk, or amazingly beautiful. I would recommend getting this in blue, green, and brown.

Liquid-This works good for nice clean lines. It usually doesn't look as natural as the pencil. You can use this to make eyelash line look fuller or even to trace around your whole eye. The good thing about this is you can have a very thin line or a thick line. With the pencil, the thinest you can get it depends on how sharp your pencil is.

Other than that, it is just based on personal preferance. I personally like the pencil because I am not very good at making straight lines and I usually end up going for the smudgy look anyways! =)
pencil can be smudged and shadow put on over it and liquid makes a very severe line and is easy to mess up and hard to get on straight...sitck to the pencil or just use shadow alone and put it on thick next to the lashes.
    pencil
If you're just starting to line your eyes, a pencil would probably be best because it's easier to use and easier to correct if you make a mistake. But for effect, liquid eye liner looks a lot better and lasts longer, and if you buy waterproof ones it runs less than pencils.
    liquid eye liner...much nicer
    eye liner pencil u?

    have a great day
pencil, and i prefer the ones from avon
    eye liner pencil
Pencil. Liquid liner makes a mess unless you have a perfectly steady hand.
the good thing about liquid is it does not smear as pencil normally does. but either way both are not on stlye try using eyeshadow with a q-tip, use other colors to bring out your eyes instead
I use a pencil on the bottom and liquid on the top of my lashes. But you have to be careful with the liquid because it smears and smudges if you dont have steady hand.
    Liquid
    liquid
    eye liner
most people it seems prefer liquid eyeliner, but personally I can't stand it. I always end up messing the brush so it won't work properly. All the bristles go every which way and I can't make a striaght smooth line. I prefer pencil because if the tip gets messed up it can always be sharpened back up to create a smooth line like new again.
liquid is thinner and doesnot smudge
its actually depends on what you like. for me, i like to use both. liquid is easier to apply (well for me) but it gets smeared easily unlike pencil. the pencil doesnt smear as easily so it depends which one you like.
I prefer the pencil for a few reasons.

    1) If you make a mistake, it's easier to take off.

    2) It's easier to control

    3) If you put it on too dark, you can smudge it to make it lighter.

What I like to do - I put it to the middle of my pupil on the upper lid, and to the edge of the iris on my lower.

Try it - I use a light grey and I have blue eyes.
Liquid only for the steady handed
liquid eye liner makes the line darker and stays on better especially if you get the waterproof liquid eyeliner. Pencil isnt as dark and for me comes off easier. The only think with liquid is that you have to have a very steady hand!
neither i use MAC eye liner gel...it doesnt bleed and its amazing...once u put it on it already is smudged which is awesome....
    both.

use liquid on top and on bottom,

and pencil on bottom inner lid.

HELLO,im so bad at applying liquid eye liner, any tips?

PLEASE haHELLO,im so bad at applying liquid eye liner, any tips?
oh man, I have the shakiest hands ever, so applying liquid eyeliner was always a nightmare for me.

Take a pencil/crayon eyeliner and make a very faint line where you want your liquid. Then take your liquid liner and trace over the line. It's best if you start in the middle of your eyelid and then work your way out, or start in the middle and work your way in towards your nose.

I found that having the guiding pencil line made things a bit easier, because I didn't have to freehand the line, but I knew I was applying it where I wanted it.

If it's still a big mess, try using a gel liner, like L'Oreal HiP gel liner. It's sort of pricey for drugstore makeup, but it's amazing, and the pigment and lasting power is pretty equal with the higher end gel liners.

Good luck!HELLO,im so bad at applying liquid eye liner, any tips?
if your really bad try a felt tip, its easier to apply than a brush liner. and go on youtube and type in ';how to apply liquid eyeliner'; it shows you easy ways to apply it, thats how i learned, and i got it looking good my second try..i just watched alot of vids on youtube before trying it.
make sure the brush has a fine tip.

then close your eye, and make tiny sweeps as close to the eyelash line as possible.

if you want a thicker darker look, then it doesn't really take any tips..

just apply it and make sure you make a straight line at the top.

    PEACE :)
lay the brush sort of on the side rather than using the tip of the brush. Also felt tip/marker applicators would better for first time liquid eyeliner users. I personally use a really cheap brand because I like the bristle applicator ( New York Cosmetics)
I'm not good at it either, but I always apply it with a kohl, and then go over it with a liquid liner, it's much easier that way

    Tricks to liquid eye liner?

Anyone have any good ways to put on liquid eyeliner because I'm having a really hard time with it!Tricks to liquid eye liner?
Rest your pinkie finger on your cheek. Start in the middle of your upper lashline, and easily and slowly work your way out. Then go back into the other half and fill it in and connect it to the first line. It takes practice, but this is one of the easiest ways to do it. Good Luck!!Tricks to liquid eye liner?
Draw the line with soft thin strokes.

If you want to try this, you can dot eyeliner and connect the dots(really fun!:D) or I didn't try this but you know the mascara trick where you use a business card and you cut the shape of your eye?(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cByuzpdXA鈥?/a> try using that tip but instead use it for you eyeliner.
my sister wear liquid eye liner all the time but she will never give me tips because she is evil.. :P

But there are tutorials on youtube like these ones - http://www.youtube.com/results?search_qu鈥?/a>

    They are really helpfull :)

    Good Luck :D xxx
yeah what you do is take the eyeliner and open it up then you take and cover your whole face with it becuase you will never be pretty unless you know how to use it okayy

so just stop try going with the all natural look
keep your eye open and do it becos if you close it the line will be thicker than you want it to be, (unless you like really thick) and keep practising you will get it eventually.
Slightly close your eye lids and keep it as close to the lid as possible. I usually hold the mirror down by my nose and look down while I put it on. I've used revlon and its worked great. The thinner the better.
just work with it until you get used to putting it on. also so you don't have runoff try to not have so much on the brush.

well make sure that you buy the linear of a really good brand

like lakme or maybeline..or any other that you know.

check if you can get a waterproof one...incase if it rains..

make sure you apply it according to your eye size,,,

    dont apply it very thick.

and try applying at one go..

after you apply if couple of times you would be perfect to apply

it very nicely...in the start it may not be able to put it that well.

    hmm guess thtz it...

and you are all set to have those magnatic eyes..:)
It works just the same, except with liquid liner the apllicator is in a brush form. You have to be more careful with liquid liner, because when you get it in your eyes, it burns.
liquid eyeliner is really tricky, but maybe that's just me. it DOES really burn, and it's sort of messy. i just go for the pencils, myself.

LIQUID EYE-LINER Help? PLEASE Help Me! Thanks!!...?

Usually I use a pencil eye-liner, but I like the way it looks on all these models and I got some for my b-day.

When I were make-up, I ONLY wear eye-liner and mascara.

I NEVER wear eye-shadow or anything...

I use a liquid eye liner from Lumene.

    And it's great.

Ok so i always wear black liquid eye liner...?

on the bottom inside of my eye, but i am starting to want it to look natural. what should i do instead? im 13 and have tried pencil but it smudges and goes away.

But my mom got me Liquid eye liner in multiple colors.

    Whats liquid eye liner for?

    and

MAC definitely, it leaves a clean line and stays on for a long time
Get the eyeliner from Bee-Luscious Cosmetics (Google them). It WILL stay on all day. It is a bit more expensive but it's worth it because it stays where you put it and you don't have to keep reapplying.

I also put concealer on underneath my eyeshadow/eyeliner to help it stay on longer.

You can use a very thin paint brush or a make up brush. If you have them! If not I would apply it with very soft light strokes.

I hope this helps you.N.Y.C liquid eye liner sucks bad but it's the only liquid eye liner I got right now any tips to apply?
wet a Q tip and clean up the line so it is nice and even. works wonders i have been doing my eye liner this way for years and still get compliments on how nice my eye liner looks. Good Luck!
Try using a light feathery touch and short strokes. Act as if your painting and not drawing. You know how all women open their mouths when applying mascara? try that as well. It always works for me.lol
well, first i'd apply a primer such as a foundation or cover up to the eye. Then i'd apply the liner using a better brush that you can get at a makup store or art store, or i would use a brush or pen from another liquid eye liner. Then i would used a damp q-tip to clean up the area. You can also set the eyeliner with a little eye shadow over it. And then, next time i'd buy some Fluidline by MAC and a nice brush.

    Covergirl offers good ones too.

How do you use liquid eye liner?

and which product would you recommendHow do you use liquid eye liner?
People who answered this question for you did a good job with suggestions and yes it does take practice but what they fail to mention is once you get it on MAKE SURE you wet your index finger and thumb with water and gently run them over you lashes (pre-mascara) avoiding to touch the line you just made . You dont want to have liquid eyeliner under your lower lid when you close your eyes. than run a tissue under it to make sure there is no left over wet residue on you lashes. Good Luck! It really is great stuff once you get the hang of it!How do you use liquid eye liner?
    1. Liquid eyeliner comes in a bottle rather like ink, and you must use a separate brush to apply. The best result will come from a point liner brush.

    2. It is natural to close your eye as you draw the line, but if you keep it open, it will actually make it easier to follow the curve of your lid and thus have a straighter line.

    3. You do not need to try and paint a continuous line with liquid eyeliner. It is actually easier to pain a few small dashes onto the lash line, eg. Inner corner, middle and outer corner, then go back and connect them.

    4. If you want a thicker line than this initial thin one, build it up gradually. Start at the middle of the lash line and draw towards the outer corner. You can extend the line slightly past the outer corner of your eyelid if you wish.

It should only be used on the top lashes because it is too harsh to be applied all the way around the eye. Liquid eyeliner does take a little bit of practice but once you get it, you get it.

And maybeline liquid eyeliner and it works great. Its very easy to wash off and if you mess up while applying you can just lick your finger and rub off the liner.
Liquid liner takes getting used to, but once you do you will love it. The liner never fades, or rubs off and always looks dark and perfect. Also, liners come in every color. I use the Lancome liner. Practice practice practice is all that I can say. To begin you can start by asking your self how you want your eyes to look. The cat eye is popular, or you can line the entire top lid, at any rate just relax and sit in front of a mirror and try to remember that as you apply the liner the tip of the brush is thin and the more you apply pressure the thicker the line. You can begin at the pupil of your eye and go out ward applying more pressure toward the temple and lift your hand upward to enhance your lid. this will give a cat eye or en Egyptian effect. never line the bottom of the eye as this will close your eye and make it appear smaller. Some start at the outer corner of the eye and paint inward, I do. This comes with practice. You will get better with time, don't get discouraged. Good luck.

I was just wondering since I always have a hard time keeping my eye lif from moving and then it becoming a big mess...How do you put on liquid eye liner?
Its really easy how i do it but my eyeliner is like liquid and pencil.. but here this one help me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_k_f4CeeG鈥?/a>How do you put on liquid eye liner?
it's really easy actually, I recommend the liquid eye liner from victoria's secret it stays on for a really long time like all day until you wash it off.

liquid eye liner should really be put nly on the top of your eye. if you put it on the bottom you will probably end up looking like a raccoon. when you put it on, just close your eye about halfway and do it little by little right above your eyelashes. if you do it in a rush you'll probably mess it up, leading you to smear it trying to fix it, so just take your time!!
Rest your elbow on a table or sturdy surface. That's probably the golden rule in eyeliner application. Unless you have a very sturdy hand, don't attempt to draw a line straight across. Dot about 3 or 4 dots across your lash line, and join them together, raising the eyeliner pen to flick it on your outside corner. I'm sure youtube has videos so you can see how make-up pros do it.

    Good Luck

How do you put on liquid eye liner top and bottom?

use lipuid eyeliner for definate lines. keep ur hand steady and the thinnest part of the line should be an the inner corners and to soften the effect use a slightly lighter coloured eye shadow underneath or use pencil eyeliner. remember dont drag your skin aound your eyes because its very delicate so be gentle. How do you put on liquid eye liner top and bottom?
I like using liquid only on top (mod look). You do have to be careful with applying and maybe if you make a mistake, you can keep some q-tips on hand. How do you put on liquid eye liner top and bottom?
It's possible but a bit difficult. It will take some practice hun. Remember to pull your bottom lid away from your eye and use the tip of the liquid pen to lightly line the lid. If liquid gets in your eye, it will burn. If you aren't up to it, use a pencil eyeliner. They work just as well. I use liquid for the top and pencil for the bottom. Good luck!

    Hi Ru,

I saw I was too late to answer your contact question, so I use this open question to do that.

First of all...contacts are basically not good for your eyes. They hinder the availability of oxygene and increase the risk of infections. You can reduce these risks in various ways:

    1. combine your contacts with glasses and wear those when you don't need your contacts (when you're at home just watching tv or work behind the computer for example) or when your eyes feel a little tired.

    2. use one-day contacts, which you throw away after every use, this reduces the risk of infections a lot. What you shouldn't do is wearing those 24/7, so put them out before sleeping to give your eyes a break.

Your eyes need more oxygene then they get from the blood. They take it from the air and contacts reduce their availability to get it. Contacts allow a certian amount of air to get through them. However, over time they become more solid from proteins and other material from your eyes and you can't clean that away! Therefore it is better for your eyes to use monthly contacts then for example half yearly contacts, let a lone year contacts.

Sorry I am not a help regarding eye liners !
a great (and cheap!!!) eyeliner i use that shows up very nice is the millan eyeliner pencil in true black. it come on soo smoothly and easily instead of cheesy eyeliner you have to force on. its only about $4.50 in U.S. and a very good liquid is wet n' wild. it comes on and if it gets in your eye it doesnt burn.. which is very rare because it stays on so good. idk the price though its very cheap though. you can find both of these at cvs or other drug stores.

Apply liquid eye liner in a good way??

hey I like the way the old movie stars apply eye liner in a old hollywood way .How can I copy it?Apply liquid eye liner in a good way??
I am a make up artist and here are some tips.

    what you need:

    eye liner brush

    eyeliner

    mascara

It takes alot of practice to get that perfect line or just to use the eyeliner itself. I like to put liquid eye liner on with a brush its easier. Then after you apply the eye liner(should only be at the top to get the good look) make sure its completely dry. The apply mascara.

If you doing the whole look start with eyeshadow

Shape and define your eyes with eyeliner after you've applied eye shadow and before applying mascara. Whether you choose a soft line or a dramatic stroke, eyeliner draws attention.

First, close one eye and gently tug and hold the outer edge of the eye taut with your left hand. With your right hand (lefties, vice-versa), using short strokes, line from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner, using a slight upward sweep at the outer corner. The upward point gives the illusion of gradually longer lashes (after curling and mascara, of course).

To steady a shaky hand when you want to apply a liquid liner, standing close to a mirror helps. Stand close to the mirror and allow the back of your hand to gently touch the mirror. This steadies the hand while you are applying the liner!

Hope that helps.Apply liquid eye liner in a good way??
I adore liquid eyeliner! It just takes MUCH practice to get it perfect! Keep Vaseline (the best make-up remover EVER!) and Q-tips near, and you should be fine!!
hehehhe, I LIVE FOR LIQUID EYELINER...lol, well I would look closely at an upclose of the look that you are trying to create, make sure you are perpared for trial and error though, it takes time to master a makeup style.
start with a good liner. i prefer the new wild n crazy liquid (its cheap, but it has a stiffer brush than most and that helps get a better line.) then even though most magazines say start outward, i find it a lot easier to start at the inside corner and move outward. don't try to do it in one motion. make a thin line from the inside to about the middle of your eye. then make a thicker line from the middle to the outside, making a small check mark once u pass your eye this creates a ';cat eye'; effect.

you can also use one of your eye shadows as eye liner. just dip an eyeliner brush in water, dip it in the eye shadow, and apply like eye liner.

:]Can i make liquid eye liner?
i don't know if you can make it, but what i do if im in a money crunch is this: when applying the mascara, i go all the way to the base of my eyelashes where it meets the eyelid and kind of rub (gently!) it leaves a little of the mascara on the eyelid where eyeliner would be. Be extra careful that you dont rub it too hard or it will get in your eye and it hurts like H**L
Ermm it'd be pretty hard and easier to buy it if you don't have the time to buy one then your probably don't have the time to tit about making it so i'd try a really thin brush and then black eyeshadow :)

Or you could use a cream eyeshadow:

Cover the brush in cream eyeshadow and then cover the same brush in black eyeshadow :)
    yes u can make it.

You need a little water, black polished powder and some RESTORE ACTION chemical.

You first mix the water and the black polished powder and then mix that with the chemical and we......

    make a eye liner !!!!!

    :)
Melt your eyeliner pencil with a lighter of black eyeshadow and a little bit of water.
i wouldnt, but you can use black eyeshadow and use that?
hahahah..never heard of making ur own eyeliner..

just go to wal mart or something and buy one..much

    easier than making it.
yes but its not sanitary. get wet n wild for a buck at the $ store

  • How to use/apply a liquid eye liner?

whats a good inexpensive brand? How to use/apply a liquid eye liner?
When you use liquid eyeliner you apply it in a different manner as when you use pencil eyeliner. Instead of drawing solid line, you do more of a line of closely spaced dashes like this --------. Drawing a solid line makes it look very harsh. You can then take a same colored eyeshadow and apply it over top of the liquid to complete the look. I like one that L'oreal makes...it's like a felt tip pen and is MUCH easier to control than a tiny little brush on a wand. Hope this helps.

How to apply liquid eye liner?

whenever i try to do it, it looks horrible.. my hands seem to shake when i try to do it.. normal eyeliners r ok, but i love the look that can be created with liquid eyeliner.. help? How to apply liquid eye liner?

Hope that helps. How to apply liquid eye liner?
try to hold ur eye open or get some 1 else to do it ....i use it all the time.....it looks kool
Try a pen applicator to start, like Cover Girl. You'll get better at it.
Liquid eye liners also come in form of a pen-tip.Try something like that instead of using a liner with a brush. Almay is one of the companies that carries this kind of a product.

Try to keep your eyes open and practice keeping your hands steady. Work on a bit of your eye at a time. When you get used to it, you will be able to work on your whole eye at once.
It helps if u place your finger to the end of your eyelid and pull the skin taut. It gives u better control on where the eye-liner goes. If that doesn't work try gettin the semi-liquid form that comes shaped like a pen. It's easier to apply
I'm horrible with most liquid eyeliner, but i got this eyeline pin from avon and it's great and so much easier for me to use. Also another tip, always keep q-tips close, that way when you mess up you can correct it with that. Check out my webpage for the eyeliner pen.

very carefully.....just joking.....it works best if you make tiny little dots across lashline instead of an actual line...also make sure your elbow is resting on the counter helps to keep you steady....good luck
With a lot of patients and practise.
    trial and error!

get up close to the mirror....

    in a VERY good light

i find pulling my eye-lid skin taut makes it way neater

make sure you dont blink too much afterwards to avoid smudging.

have a make wipe close to make corrections
draw a line across the top eyelid as close to the lashes as possible,, it doesnt matter how thick..

then use a cotton bud with a tiny bit of makeup remover on it and push the eyeliner down towards the lashes,, and make a thin line across the eye the gradually gets thicker,, you can even add a flick at the side of your eye . easy!

    X
It's easier if you shut one eye and then pull back towards your ear so the surface is flat.

Sephora has a really nice easy one to use that makes a thin line for the classic look or a thicker one if you push down.
Ahh..the good old liquid eye liner.

    It's really hard!!

I've heard a bunch of different techniques but the best way is to practice a bunch when you're not going anywhere important, and keep a giant bottle of eye make-up remover handy!

My personal favorite is pulling the eyelid tight and slowly but steadily making a quick black line. For a more dramatic look, you can do a slight Egyptian looking eye.

Another way is to draw three dots, one at the inner corner of your eye, another in the middle, and one on the outer corner, then connect the dots. Personally, I've never tried this but it might be worth a shot.

Another way I've heard is to keep your eye OPEN when you are applying it, and just do a straight line.

Try all three ways and see which works for you..and then practice like crazy, it's the only way!!

    Good luck!
You just have to keep on practising im afraid!
there are som egood answers here already , the cotton bud tip is great always handy to have for eye makeup, but the best thing i learnt was if at all possible have a surface in front of you whilst loking inthe mirror and rest your elbow on it, failing that , take the palm of your other handand rest the heel of the applying hand on it then do it.

the best advice is to ttry a few and see what works for you as there are several ways but its what you can manage

depending on your age it works to pull your eye lid taught even if only for applying the inner corner i try to do it in one qiuck line but im too chicken sometimes if im in a hurry its often better to actually slow down a little just for those few seconds......i personally pull the lid tight and start at the inner corner ( cos i find it the trickiest bit ) and draw to the middlethen change the angle of the hand and draw form the midlle line to the outer edges.

    good luck.
the best kind of eyeliner to get is one that feels firm just like a felt tip pen, avoid using one that has soft brissles. Then get a mirror that you can place at eye level on a table (you can put it on top of some books) so you can see yourself in it. then place your elbow on the table, this will give you a straight line, tilt your head back slightly and lower you eye lids and apply your line starting from the outer corner of you eye. good luck!!!
chanel.com, fragrance and beauty, makeup, makeup application videos, eyes, eyeliner. hope this helps
I have never been able to.
PRACTICE %26amp; PATICENCE, AND YOU STILL MEES UP SOMETIMES. HAHA. HAVE EYE MAKEYP REMOVER CLOSE BY! GOOD LUCK
    practise!!

    Kohl pencil looks better anyway.
I'm so sorry to say this, but I think eyeliner makes girls, women look 'hard' I think its the most unflattering bit of make-up kit that anyone ever owned! (Myself I wouldnt be seen dead in it!)

I feel I much prefer a natural look. If we'd been meant to have black lines all around our eyes then God wouldv tatooed them on before we were born!!

Please dont ruin an otherwise more than likely very successful 'make-up job' with articles such as eyeliner pens!!

Whats wrong with natural and a hint of mascara?

Mind u, I even have doubts on that.(mascara)..when I was younger I never wore it and I had really long eyelashes that other girls were really quite envious of (even tho I say it myself lol) I never wore any make-up then or until I was about 30.

Since starting to wear make-up, my skin appearance worsened, my eyes have sunk, my eyelashes are really thin and stragly and my eyebrows have never looked right now the tweezers have been let loose on them!!

So do yourselves a huge favour - - dont be too quick to throw on the slap unless you want the slap to overthrow you in later life!!

STAY WITH 'NATURAL' AS LONG AS POSSIBLE!
the best hint is to make sure you pull the eyelid out - and make sure your elbow is leaning on a hard surface ;) one quick movement you should be fine
Screw philosophy and religious questions, finally - a potentially life changing question! :0) Look forward to the words of wisdom. I tried it and look like Alice Cooper in a matter of seconds.
