Which is the best brand of liquid eye liner?

I think the best brand of liquid eyeliner is Mac Fluid-line or Smashbox (even though it's harder to take off but it will come off if you use eye makeup remover).





Liquid eyeliner should only be used above the top lashes. It is best to use a pencil or eyeshadow under the lower lashes. For a more dramatic look, use a colored kohl pencil above and below lashes and follow with a black liquid liner on the top. It will make your lashes appear darker and will stay on all day. I use Rimmell - it's really good and easy to use. Stays on all day too.
If you want something prettty cheap Maybelline waterproof liquid eyeliner works pretty well. I have actually been looking into buying something new.

It depends what kind of look you want. I always like a 50s style very clean very black line so the best I have found (after 10 years of testing!) is Clarins Liquid Eyeliner with a brush. This takes a bit of practise to get right but the brush is so thin that it gives you a very flexible result. It lasts ages for the money and stays on all day.





If you are not so bothered about a very very black line and are fairly new to applying, you could try a pen liner...No7 do a good one...this is probably a bit easier to apply and gives a good result too. make sure you lean your elbow on a table or something to apply it though because it's easy to make a mistake.
